Summary

I am a Mechanical Engineering PhD candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, expecting graduation next Spring. I am a research assistant at the LIGO Laboratory, where my research is focused on the development of high precision field-deployable opto-mechanical instruments. Having worked on a variety of projects, from miniature satellites and quantum metrology to machine leaning applied to spectroscopy, I have gathered experience in the design, prototyping and implementation of these instruments. My believe is that society would greatly benefit from low-cost high-precision systems that can be used in a variety of fields, from agriculture to healthcare, and my goal is to keep developing these systems after graduation.
